MY MOB WIFE TREND REPORT UNIT
I have really enjoyed this first project, it was pretty straightforward and didn't involve too much creativity. As I prefer to stick to the marketing side of fashion, journalism has always come more in favour than editing or design for me.
Although I have never written a trend report before, I felt pretty confident in writing and completing the task pretty fast. Not fully understanding what a trend report really meant, that being a challenge for me.
Assuming it's all about describing the positives of a trend, when in fact it meant data, the cycle, statistics, color analysis and the list continues. Thursday morning sessions were the most reflective and knowledgeable for me to strengthen my writing.
Returning back to my report, reshaping the structure and filling it up with more useful information. My need to figure everything out alone and not asking for support can lead me to overthink the tasks and potentially do the wrong things.
The trend report gave me an opportunity to express my interests. For future references, I should allow more room for support and contextual research in sophisticating a strong viewpoint.

MY IMAGE AND MESSAGE UNIT
Creative work can be challenging. Lacking confidence in bringing my ideas to light, causing me to hesitate.
Having past experience in this field studying FCAP in college. I could establish a plan and process easier. As I've had already planned ahead the style of editing and shoot location I wanted to take.
The biggest struggle was working with a group of people who shared very different ideas to one another, which wasn't communicated well. There was a lot of confusion and frustration. Meaning the first photoshoot ended up clashing with these opposite visuals. As a collective there wasn't a good amount of support for acknowledging our different takes on ideas.
I appreciated this project for that reason, it helped us try something new and establish the do's and don't. Therefore, we had retaken a second photoshoot to feel a level of fulfillment within the outcomes.
We all felt heard and were able to share our thoughts freely. For future references, working in a smaller group and trying to keep things more simple and precise would make the process a lot smoother.
MY FASHION SPARKS BLOG
Having no past experience in building a blog, I found the start of it extremely difficult to understand. Constantly changing my ideas and putting myself behind causing me to feel stuck.
My ability to self-discipline forced me into days of researching designers, documentaries, reading other blogs. Soon enough, I finally knew what to talk about.
I believe there's room for improvement in making my blog feel more upbeat. For my first time, I won't be too harsh on myself. Managing to complete it besides the struggles of avoiding this at the beginning.
Now that I understand how to build and use a website, future blogging will become a lot more straightforward. Testing out multiple sites, has helped me to choose the right one for me.
This is easy to use for beginners and the colors match the aesthetic of my previous projects. The familiarity of sticking to the same theme soothes me.
